The clogs are back in town!
Initially the foot wear of the working class they have remained a staple since the 13th century
. Made initially from solid wood, they later were adapted with a leather upper, but both styles perfectly protected the foot from both the wet, muddy ground and during the industrial revolution against all the dangers of the workplace. Worn in fields, in mines and mills they were loved due to the comfort and durability of their construction.
Today we see clogs in a huge range of colours and styles, but comfort is still one of the main reasons people love the clog. So whether your at home, at work in the garden, out for a walk or fancy a dance - your feet will love a new pair of clogs.
